Sailing 2023

The students will arrive in the morning at “Circolo Vela Bellano asd, Viale Tommaso Grossi, 23822 Bellano LC” by coach.

The sailing trip will be preceded by a theoretical explanation part in which the following topics will be covered:

• Theory and technique of the sailing boat, knowledge of the environment and winds, notions of seamanship, knots, rigging and nomenclature, gaits, conduction;
• Lake Como, territory and sailing, a sustainable reality in continuous development.

The students will be divided into 10 groups of 5 and an instructor will be assigned to each group.

Everything will be supervised by an activity leader, a 2nd/3rd level FIV instructor.

Each group will begin the sailing experience on small cabin cruisers with an instructor on board.

The sailing activity will be followed by a visit to the world-famous Orrido di Bellano.
